Looking for a new and exciting idea for your child's next party? Let us help you with our wonderful food, games and fun activities.
We can organise everything for you - invitations, party packages, decorations, cakes, fun activities and games AND the children will prepare an amazing treat to eat! We have a wonderful range of take home goodies and we can work to any theme, such as pirates, space, flowers, colours etc. We will even prepare a recipe book full of recipes from your guests.
It is a fantastic, hands on and fun way to celebrate a birthday! We can come to you or organise a venue. We will do it all for you!
New to The Little Cookie - Make Your Own Mix Jars. This is a wonderful way to extend what we learn in our parties, to what your Clever Little Cookie can do with you at home.
During our classes, we prepare the dry mixtures for various recipes, such as muesli munchies, which can then be taken home in a beautiful jar (layered with the ingredients in a pretty pattern) to be made at home. This is a great alternative to lolly bags and is yet another fun, creative and hands on activity to make during your child’s party.

Joanna and Alexandra have been teaching in junior primary for many years now. They not only have a love for teaching young children, but also for delicious food and cooking.
Cooking is an amazing learning tool within the classroom. Children are given the opportunity to learn many concepts in numeracy, literacy and science in a hands on, fun and messy way. And they love nothing more than eating what they have prepared, giving them a wonderful sense of achievement. After realising how much children learn from and enjoy cooking experiences, the girls decided to start The Little Cookie as a holiday program. Soon, they were getting many requests to do cooking classes for birthdays parties, and they haven’t looked back since.
The girls love being able to share their cooking skills with children during their birthday celebration. They can see the value of each experience - the fun and excitement of getting in the kitchen and getting their hands into mixtures, the conversations that are stimulated and the enjoyment of sitting at the table and eating together the wonderful meals they have created together.
The Little Cookie will soon be joining the team at the Sunday Children’s markets and are looking forward to presenting classes at WOMADELAIDE in 2010.
